About Zambezi River Tours

Why this site exists

The same river gives two opposite days. Above the falls it is a slow, wide channel with hippos and elephants at dusk. Below them it drops into a gorge of Grade 5 rapids. The listings for both rarely say plainly what the price leaves out: park fees, the side of the border the pickup covers, and the season when the full rafting run is open.

This site puts the listings side by side with those details attached, so a traveller knows the whole trip before booking it.

Where the facts come from

Tour prices, durations, ratings, review counts and inclusions are read from each operator's own listing on Viator or GetYourGuide, in US dollars. Every card links the live listing, so a figure on this site can always be traced back to its source.
